A Grand Day out in Fleetwood!

The band were thrilled to support yet another fantastic Red Admiral Contests event, this time in Fleetwood.

We chose to play Red Priest a fiendishly hard test, which stretches all areas of the band, a test that we only had 7 rehearsals to prepare due to other band commitments. We pulled it off! We were awarded 2nd place out of 13 bands in the Championship section contest amongst an incredibly strong field.

Unfortunately we missed out on qualification to the Spring Brass Festival by one place, but an outstanding achievement from the band none the less.

We look forward to future opportunities to qualify later in the year.
