The Witton Albion Band recently made a remarkable journey to Amboise, France, to compete in the prestigious French Open brass band contest. Their trip was filled with memorable performances, intense competition, and moments of celebration. The band were thrilled to support yet another fantastic Red Admiral Contests event, this time in Fleetwood. We chose to play Red Priest a fiendishly hard test, which stretches all areas of the band, a test that we only had 7 rehearsals to prepare due to other band commitments. We pulled it off! We had the most amazing evening entertaining a full Sandbach Townhall alongside the aazing Damion Charles, a former member of the Drifters. Damion comes with an impressive CV and has collaborated with a number of stars over the years as well as numerous appearances on Strictly Come Dacing as part of the live band.
